Photoshop Compositions

Here you will find some of the work that I have done primarily through Photoshop and other graphic design tools including wallpapers, special effects, touch-ups, collages, and more.

Concept Video Interface Design

Created as a class assignment in 2009, this digital video interface template was composed in Photoshop, with some added elements done in 3D. All graphical components are originally composed by myself. The interface itself was designed at 1024 x 768 resolution and meant to showcase what a custom full-screen video interface may look like for a nature preserve.

Concept Web Site Mockup

Every Web site that I have designed contains a wealth of 2D graphic-related components. Seen here is one mockup design for a theoretical computer company. This particular project was created as part of a final project in college, in which I designed three entirely separate site prototypes in Photoshop and then created six individual page mockups for the chosen design. Such a design could then be converted into an actual Web page.

Old Photo Restoration

This was a quick family project to restore an old (1900-1920) photograph of a late relative's residence. The original black and white photograph was warped, faded, torn and blemished. I restored it to black and white, and then digitally colorized the picture to redistribute to family members.

Game Development Brochure

Every programming project that I've ever worked on has involved varying degrees of of 2D graphic design work—from icons and textures to designer text and interface options. During the year 2006, I produced three separate 3D games while making heavy use of custom 2D graphics within each project (for the graphical user interface, model textures, 2D overlays, and so forth). For one game, Bombzuka, I also created a 20-page "Behind the Scenes / Making of" brochure which graphically highlighted many aspects of the three-month development process. The brochure contained many 2D graphical effects and layout styles, while also blending in 3D elements from the game itself.
